Residual Income – Put This Powerful Resource to Work for You!

With linear income the money continues to come in as long as you continue to work, but with non-linear income you get paid over and over for work you did once.
A prime example of non-linear or residual income would be a recording artist. They write and record a song and every time a recording of that song is sold, the artist receives a portion of the sale, even years after its first release. The same thing happens with movie stars who opt for a lower salary initially in exchange for a portion of the royalties. A hit movie can pay an actor for life. But, if you aren’t gifted with the ability to write, act or sing, how can the average person put this powerful financial tool to work for them?
With the rise of the internet the opportunities for average people like you and I to make a residual income has increased exponentially. Network marketing, which has the potential to create a large residual income for those representing the products of a company to others, used to have to be done face to face, either in your home or at the traditional hotel meeting.
Today, the internet has made it possible to contact others wanting financial freedom anywhere in the world, and build relationships that will add associates to your business, thus increasing your residual income. But, building a network marketing business takes lots of time and effort, and many just don’t have the patience to persist until the rewards are reaped, which explains the 90% dropout rate across the network marketing industry.
I recommend that anyone who is just getting started in building a business from home, utilizing the internet, look at affiliate programs as the logical place to start. With affiliate programs, you are assisting someone who has a product (information products like E-books are excellent to work with, as they can be instantly downloaded after purchase) sell it to customers who have a need. Once you learn how to drive qualified traffic to the offer, you can basically leave it to bring in sales, while you look for the next product you want to represent. Is Your Mlm/multilevel Marketing Business Legitimate?

A legitimate multilevel marketing business is a great way to get a legitimate residual income that could change your life from the 9-5 rut to a life of financial freedom. But there are many pitfalls out there that will make achieving this difficult. (Or even illegal depending on the MLM you decide to sign up with.)
There are several ways for a person to ascertain whether or not a multi level marketing company is or is not a legitimate MLM. There are a few things that can be checked to make sure you are not going to get involved in something that breaks the fifty or so statutes that govern this type of company.
TYPE OF PRODUCT
One of the ways to separate the legitimate MLM from the scams is by looking at the type of product that the multilevel marketing home business will provide. Many multilevel marketing home business ideas work on the principle that they will be charging way too much for the service or product they will provide. So check that the company is charging a fair price for their product. Also check that you can become involved with the company without having to pay for a huge amount of inventory. This is also the way that many scams operate, on the idea of selling to people who think that they will be selling in large volume from the get go and not caring what happens to the investor after that. If you have to invest thousands in a multilevel marketing idea then it is best to head in the other direction fast.
It is best to ensure that you can be a sales representative with little or no more than the purchase of a sales kit or demonstration materials.
COMPENSATION PLAN
Looking at the compensation plans of your prospective multilevel marketing company is one of the best indicators as to whether or not it is a scam. Check whether the compensation plan pays bonuses or commissions purely on the basis of recruiting more people into the company. If it does, it is illegal. It is also not a legitimate MLM if it pays headhunting fees as this is also illegal.
A home business idea such as a legitimate MLM is great because of the relatively low financial risk involved. This may not ring true to the work at home business ideas you have seen but the good multi level marketing companies will buy back the sales kit and any re-sellable materials from any of those who wish to cancel. This is actually required by law so have a look at this before handing any money over.
PERSONAL USE OF GOODS
The FTC also rejects the idea of personal use of the goods or services that you will be providing as a legitimate retail sale. But the debate continues over whether or not the sales to non-participants and purchases in reasonable amounts are retail. There are big grey areas in the world of multilevel marketing so keep abreast of the laws and statutes in your state.
TRAINING
Probably the single best way to ascertain whether or not a company is a legitimate MLM is to look at the training that will be provided in the way of sales and recruitment. Any company worth its salt will want to have people who know what they are doing. So they will provide training to those who have little or no idea how to sell or market a product.
Also, having a clear idea as to what you will be doing is important in choosing a work at home multilevel marketing business. It is astounding to see how many companies do not stipulate whether or not you will be in a selling, supervising, distributing or soliciting role which is required under federal law.

Do you feel overwhelmed, frustrated, or burnt out with your present marketing strategy? Attraction marketing training is one of the most sought after topics within the network marketing community today. Why is it that so many internet network marketers are turning to attraction marketing training as a solution to their lead generation problems? The most common answer is because they were never properly trained in the first place and their upline is still working the old school methods.
Network marketing, more specifically multi level marketing, has an extremely low success rate. Part of the reason for the low success is the picture that is painted by your upline is fabricated. The problem is most network marketing uplines are too immersed in their mlm business model which hasn’t changed in years to go out on a limb and invest their time in attraction marketing training. That and they don’t want to be an attraction marketing trainer. Sometimes you can’t teach an old dog new tricks and if buying leads, hanging pull tabs, distributing fliers, etc. works for them then why would they bother to take the time to learn attraction marketing training.
This is the primary reason that attraction marketing training is searched so heavily. Network marketers are looking for solutions and more information but are timid about taking action out of fear of being out on their own without any support. What will your mlm upline sponsors reaction be when you tell them that you are learning a new model of promoting your business? A Website Model That Makes Money
Posted by: | CommentsI would like to share with you one simple strategy in creating income with your own website. This is just one method out of simply millions that you could create for yourself. Remember the internet provides no limits. This is one example that does work for me, and may give you an insight into exactly a website model, that you may like to put into action for yourself. Affiliate marketing and/or sales of any kind on the internet, requires a real commitment, as I am sure you do already realize. The internet is really one of the greatest training grounds in the world for sales. You can try and fail many times, until you find that system and approach that will work for you. But the commitment that you show in meeting this challenge will be a lesson that you will always remember. Success is always achieved in no matter what you do, through simple hard work. There is no easy path to success, but when you achieve the success you are after, there is no greater feeling. So lets begin. In this example my website, which for the purposes of this article i will call ‘????’. I will give you the exact profit breakdowns.
With this website I treat all my affiliate products as purely residual income, much like adsense. Adsense itself generates for me, on this website, on average around $2 per day. I also use various other companies affiliate products, which generate around $200 per month. Also within the website, I sell e-book informational products, which I own the full resale rights for, which generate around $700 per month. And here lies the answer to making money online, no matter what you sell. The products, that generate the most income, are the ones that you will own yourself. Certainly I should be making more from the affiliate info products that I sell. But I lose commissions through simple affiliate url tampering. Commissions that are stolen or lost are a real pain. You can try every method in the book to protect your affiliate codes. But after all the hard work is done, you still lose that valuable income. The people who sell the original affiliate product know this, which is mostly why a high percentage of the sales price is offered to an affiliate to begin with. Because they realize that a very high ratio of sales made on their products will give them the total profit back. The reasons why people change affiliate product codes etc, could run into pages. Let’s just say it is inevitable. This is the reason why I treat all my affiliate based products as purely residual income.
But as you can see in this example clearly where the highest return on investment lies. And that is in the products that you actually own. You can purchase resale rights for info products easily, and it involves not much money at all, most products are available for under $50. Or if you have the time and patience to search the internet. You can find amazing e-books that have free resell rights and the information they contain is really valuable. You will find these types of treasures occasionally, and the lights will start flashing in your eyes when you do. The information that you have just discovered is of value and that is a real key to success. This is why I, at this point, strongly emphasize the importance of this one principle. Only sell products that you feel strongly about and you know that will be of great value to the person who may purchase it. That includes products you have bought the resale rights for, or a free product, you have discovered with resale rights.
If you sell strong products with real informational value consistently you will always succeed. Your customers will return, quite simply because they know where the value of the information they seek is the greatest. And that is at your website. Always remember to put yourself into your visitors shoes. Ask yourself the question? Would you buy the products you are selling? Answer this question with a Yes. And you will be really on the start too online success.

A typical MLM has a product or service that is sold by a distributer and is not normally found in a store. How to Earn Residual Income in a Business Opportunity Online
Posted by: | CommentsThe Internet has become the most lucrative sales environment in history, spawning countless new millionaires. What business ventures and thoughts are best in creating not only immediate sales, but long-term success through residual income streams?
Sure, there is money today in Internet sales. In a 2006 article by John Chow, the top 10 Google AdSense publishers were bringing in from $10,000 to $300,000 monthly. But this is managed income, requiring effort every day. What about “hands-off” passive income streams?
In their recent book, Donald Trump and Robert Kiyosaki, effectively endorsed the MLM model, even making the statement that, if starting over now, they would have chosen MLM to generate their own wealth. Network marketing companies still offer the greatest chance to achieve profitable residual income streams, if chosen with judgment.
Consumable products, that are unique and helpful work best for this, since your customers will need to reorder from you. Generics should not be accessible, or not as effective and “valuable” as your “genuine” products.
So what makes MLM most effective in the Internet age? My short answer is “Attraction Marketing.” In a more detailed answer, the social networks and blogs provide the best leverage in this process. The first step is to take a self-inventory and then to construct your own “brand.” What are your strengths and experiences? How can these be leveraged, not just for your own desires, but for the larger good? Every person has a unique contribution that they have been “designed” to make. What is yours? We put forward that fulfilling your own “destiny,” coupled to the right network marketing business will unlock your own personal streams of residual income.
Next, you can simply start using social media, blogging and other tools and “attraction marketing” techniques, to feed into a sales funnel for your own carefully selected network marketing efforts. In this process, your most important “brand” is your own name. In my case, with a common name, I selected JimGreen.us as my WordPress blog (too late to get a dot com). All my social media sites also are in my name, reinforcing my own “brand.” For instance, my Twitter account is Jim_C_Green, etc. Your aim is to create a social media site “vortex” of websites interconnected with your blog and feeding your sales funnel. The last step is to build an effective sales funnel for your MLM business.
Your “brand” needs to speak to your passion and the contribution areas that you have been “gifted” to participate in. What are yours? One of my mentors, Dr. Ivan Misner, created Business Networks International based on “catch phrase” that, for me, provides the key underlying concept: “Givers gain.” We believe that this is one of the primary universal laws. With this as a foundation, your own income will be in direct relation to your own contributions to society. Keep this in mind and your “attraction marketing” efforts will have no limits.
