How To Promote Your MLM Opportunity Online The Easy Way
Posted by: | CommentsLet’s face it; promoting your MLM program online should be a slam-dunk, shouldn’t it? Millions of opportunity seekers looking for extra income, automated lead generation and follow up systems that can contact and sort through thousands of prospects at the push of a button, and lots of money to be earned if you get it right.
Why then is it so hard to find qualified, active members for your downline on the Internet? The main reason is that most people are approaching their lead generation the wrong way.
Let me explain.
Most people starting off in Network Marketing start looking for ‘opportunity seekers. Here’s something you probably didn’t realize…the average opportunity seeker is looking for something they can do that –
A. Doesn’t require much, if any work
B. Doesn’t cost anything to get started but pays a regular income
C. Doesn’t have any risk attached, especially the risk of being rejected
By trying to attract opportunity seekers to your business, what you are most likely doing is attracting people who are looking for a ‘JOB’. These people are exactly the wrong market for your MLM business because even if you DO get them on board, they will suck up your time and most likely never help to build your business.
Let’s look at a better alternative…
Glenda suffers from chronic arthritis, has done for years, and is searching online for something to finally give her some measure of relief. She finds a great website article on the benefits of a wonderful product that has been shown to work for others, orders a trial amount to give it a go, and discovers that her prayers have been answered.
Glenda is so impressed with the product that she tells, Shirley, Ann and Bill, her friends from the Over 50’s activity center. Bill, Ann and Shirley are also impressed with the benefits of the product and tell other people about it. Soon, hundreds of people are using the product after being referred to it by people they trust.
This is the way MLM is supposed to work.
The problem is, if you follow many of the industry’s training guidelines, you’ll never find Glenda or her friends because your business is not looking for her – the actual customer. I know several people who earn thousands of dollars a month by promoting the PRODUCTS first, and THEN the opportunity.
By focusing on what your customers want, and not the income you may receive from your downline, you set your MLM business up for success right from the start.
Bottom Line?
Build a website around the BENEFITS of the PRODUCTS your company provides (not the opportunity), attract customers to those products by PRE-selling them to potential customers (again, using the benefits they provide), then let them know that they can earn referral fees by sharing the benefits (the very benefits they themselves have experienced) of your products with others.
You will be building a long term, sustainable income stream from ‘real’ customers who love and continue to order your products and not people who are really just looking for a get rich quick scheme or a job…

Even You Tube is packed with useful how to videos that show you how to do some of the more technical aspects of Internet Publishing. There is Open Source Software that you will find useful and joining the right mailing lists will help you keep up to date with new developments.

So many ads and websites say they have a business opportunity to make money with a home business. They promise fast and easy money-making plans that turn out to be just shady borderline schemes at best, most often.
Instead of finding any sort of solid game plan with tools to use, simple instructions to follow, etc., what you often get is a site loaded up with a bunch of “stuff” you need to check out like a forum full of articles and posts about “how to” do everything, you just need to dig, sort and figure out in what order.
Plus you often get hundreds of pages of additional ebooks and reports to sift through, video and audio tutorials and more each month you are a member.
Any to all of the following could result:
1) You have no idea how to get organized with all this program info. And you barely know where to begin and how to go from there. So you basically fail from the get go, screw things up, start over a few times, basically get nothing real accomplished, certainly no money coming in, and you quit, or toss the membership aside to work on later, if ever.
2) Eureka, you figure out some of the important stuff, get your business rolling, make a sale or two, then nothing. All is quiet. What’s happened is that you basically missed some set up steps and your systems are not in place. So you take more time, go back and study your member contents, seek help from the forum, support and anywhere you can and try again.
3.) As help arrives, you have yet more content to read in the replies, more tasks to accomplish, more things to learn. You also realize the program involves additional purchases: other tools to use, other subscriptions to join, etc. So you need more money, more time and more help learning all that new stuff, too.
The maze of madness you fall into can get ugly and scary fast. If you’re lucky, you can quit while you’re behind, try and save face and move on to other things, other business opportunities that might make more sense.
But what you really hope for is to reach that ultimate goal. You want to finally find a home business online opportunity that is fast and easy for anyone! No experience necessary.

To avoid a maddening maze of messy membership site programs out there today with empty promises, people are now turning to better home business models.

Quick And Easy Weight Loss For 2008
Posted by: | CommentsIt’s seems like everyday that goes by brings the introduction of a new weight loss fad or diet. It’s amazing how much misinformation is available in the world today. Haven’t you seen the ads on the T.V. infomercials and basically every website you visit?
It seems we are always looking for the quick fix to everything. Why not have a quick fix to weight loss…right? Well, why there are definitely methods than work better than other in the weight loss world, some things never change. The number one way to lose weight and burn fat is, and always will be, to eat a diet that allows your body to burn fat and also to exercise regularly and properly.
Twenty years ago, the issues that kept people from losing weight were more related to the fact that the information really didn’t exist in a universal manner. There was no internet, no cable T.V., and no overwhelming supply of weight loss information available.
Nowadays, there is too much information available! We have gone from having to search for the truth to having to SORT the truth. And with so many false claims and instructions, this process can be downright overwhelming for the average person looking to lose weight!
There’s always someone out there telling us we can lose fat without watching our diet and without any exercise. As much as we’d like to believe that’s true, deep down inside we know better. The ads promising that we can ‘get slim quick’ remind us of the ‘get rich quick’ infomercials we always see on late-night television. Still, there’s no shortage of ‘get slim quick’ products out there.
Permanent Weight Loss Requires Effort – The bottom line in weight loss is that you must eat better and exercise more if you are looking to lose weight. There is really no way around these initial requirements. Once you get closer to your goals and objectives, you can start being less restrictive with your diet and occasionally enjoy your favorite dish. However, don’t think you can have your cake and burn fat too.
Don’t Be Tempted By Shortcuts – So is it possible to lose weight quickly? Sure, but weight loss achieved quickly and/or by ‘cheating’ will never be permanent and is usually not healthy. While some diets make HUGE weight loss claims, don’t fall for a diet that makes claims you feel are inaccurate.
Remember the phen-fen pills that were popular just a few years ago? While they certainly helped you lose weight, they were withdrawn from the market in September of 1997 after being linked to the occurrence of serious cardiac valvular disease, and primary pulmonary hypertension. Not exactly the road you would like to take to weight loss huh?
Ephedra, another weight loss product, was pulled from shelves on April 12, 2004. After a careful review of the available evidence about the risks and benefits of ephedra in supplements, the FDA found that these supplements present an unreasonable risk of illness or injury to consumers. The data showed little evidence of ephedra’s effectiveness, except for short-term weight loss, while confirming that the substance raises blood pressure and stresses the heart (Source: nccam.nih.gov).
Note that the National Institutes of Health (NIH) found that the herbal supplement ephedra was effective for only short-term weight loss. Doesn’t really sound like a long-term solution does it? In fact, the majority of these pills are nothing but processed garbage.
There are lots of other ’shortcuts’ out there, from laxatives to harsh stimulants. Then there are healthier cheeper alternatives such as green tea and oolong tea. You should always stick with the healthier, cheaper solutions because they tend to be free from the radical claims that supplement companies can make.
The Conclusion – Now that you know there is no quick fix to your weight loss solution, will you take this advice and put it to use? Countless others will lose money, not weight, on buying these ridiculously advertised products. Isn’t it time you relied on the basics of weight loss that have been proven to work time and time again?
Remember, the next time you read a weight loss claim by any weight loss product, just know that the claims they make have just as high a probability of happening without the product as with the product. All of their claims are limited by your bodies ability to burn fat which is nothing more than combining a great diet with sound exercise principles.
